SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Please submit the following:

1. WRITTEN AND EDITED ARTICLE

  • 300-600 words
  • Previously published content is accepted
  • Attach the article to the email in a Word document
  • Include links to previous Nonfiction Ink posts in your article, if appropriate
  • Topic should fit into one of the following categories: prescriptive nonfiction writing advice, marketing tips, expertise/platform building, publishing industry (news, information, process), how to land a book deal, or self-publishing how-to (from book design to establishing a publishing company).

2. BYLINE WITH LINKS

  • At the conclusion of your post, please include a brief bio listing your expertise, credentials, or experience along with links to your website, blog and Twitter ID.

3. IMAGE

  • Please forward your headshot or other image in .jpg format.

All submissions receive a response within 5 business days.
